You bin will not be emptied and will be tagged for your information. If you place any items which can’t be recycled into your brown bin, this will contaminate the contents of the bin, which will mean that none of the items inside can be recycled. You can place excess materials meant for your brown bin in clear bags next to it on the day of your collection. Thick cardboard should be neatly stacked and also put alongside your brown bin on your collection day.
